Gold Mountain Scholarship – High School
Eligibility:
- Identify as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander (AANHPI)
- High school senior attending college by Fall 2025
- First-generation college student
- DACA/undocumented students must have SSN or ITIN
- Tax return may be required (2024 or 2025)
- Must submit proof of college acceptance
- Cannot be child/dependent of OCA staff, Executive Council, or Business Advisory Council members

Gold Mountain Scholarship – College Seniors
Eligibility:
- Identify as AANHPI
- College/community college student entering final year (Fall 2025)
- First-generation college student
- DACA/undocumented students must have SSN or ITIN
- Tax return may be required
- Cannot be past OCA-UPS high school recipient
- Cannot be child/dependent of OCA staff, Executive Council, or Business Advisory Council members

- Accepted or enrolled in MPA (or similar) program in 2023
- Cannot be child/dependent of OCA staff, Executive Council, or Business Advisory Council members

- 25% Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity minimum
- U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident
- High school senior or college student, full-time, in arts/journalism/communications
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Leadership experience

- Must own and operate small business (1+ year & 6+ months revenue)
- Must submit business plan or website/socials

The APALA Scholarship will provide financial assistance to a student of Asian or Pacific background who is enrolled in, or has been accepted into, a master's or doctoral degree program in library and/or information science at a school accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).
Eligibility:
- Of Asian/Pacific Islander heritage
- Enrolled or admitted to ALA-accredited MLIS or PhD program
- Full-time or part-time students eligible
- Must be in library school by Fall 2025
- APALA member in good standing by deadline
- Must not have received APALA scholarship before
- Must serve on Scholarship Committee if awarded

- May need to submit 2024 or 2025 tax return
- Cannot be previous OCA-UPS Gold Mountain Scholarship recipient (as high school senior)
- Cannot be child/dependent of OCA staff, Executive Council, or Business Advisory Council members

#LiveLikeLyly Memorial Scholarship
In honor of Lyly Koenig Koenig Mendez, provides financial assistance for Asian American students in fashion/graphic design.
Eligibility:
- At least 25% Asian/Pacific Islander ethnicity
- U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident
- High school senior or full-time college student in fashion/graphic design
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrated leadership
- Not a family member of Board members
